Well well, its been a scorching weekend in Devon and I worked hard on Saturday painting a bloody great big bridge on the North Devon Link Road. Thankfully we were protected with steel barriers instead of plastic cones, as the chelsea tractor owners and soft top brigade, were as usual incapable of slowing down whilst going through the road works. Its nice to see ones life is valued so little by such people, who are the first to moan if the roads are in a bad way, yet those of us who maintain them live everyday with the threat of death from driver stupidity!!
